The Heinrich-Pranzl-Steig hike is located in a beautiful area with stunning natural surroundings. This out-and-back route is 4.59 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 196 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your journey, you will come across a wayside shrine just 0.68 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along at 0.73 kilometers, there is a historic wayside cross for you to admire. Additionally, a parking area is conveniently located right at the start of the trail, so you can easily leave your vehicle before embarking on the hike.

About 0.09 kilometers into the hike, there is an information point where you can learn more about the area and its history. As you approach the midpoint of the trail at 2.3 kilometers, you will reach a scenic viewpoint offering breathtaking views of the surroundings.
