Welcome to the Heinrich-Pranzl-Steig hiking route! This trail offers a scenic and leisurely 2.514 kilometer hike with an elevation gain of 111.0 meters, making it an easy route suitable for hikers of all levels.

Starting at the designated parking area located right at the beginning of the trail, you will embark on your adventure through lush greenery and picturesque surroundings. Along the way, you will come across various points of interest that add to the allure of the hike.

About 0.64 kilometers from the start, you will encounter an information point providing insights into the local area. Further along, at 0.86 kilometers, you will find the entrance to the Abrisskluft bei der Wildfrauenhöhle cave, a natural wonder worth exploring. Adjacent to this cave entrance, there is another cave entrance at the same distance, leading to the Paulinenhöhle cave.

Continuing your journey, at approximately 1.06 kilometers, you will reach the Wildfrauenhöhle cave entrance, another fascinating site along the trail. As you approach the 1.19 kilometer mark, you will find the Wackelstein rock formation, a unique geological feature adding to the charm of the hike.

At the turnaround point, 1.26 kilometers into the trail, you will encounter the Oadaxlmau bench, offering a pleasant spot to rest and take in the surrounding nature. Nearby, you will also find the Wackelstein peak, an impressive natural landmark.

As you make your way back, take a moment to appreciate the Gams artwork and the Rieselhöhle cave entrance. Additionally, there are several benches and an information point for visitors to rest and gather more insights about the area.
