This hiking route will take you to the scenic area of Portiflue, offering beautiful views and various points of interest along the way. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 3.878 kilometers and an elevation gain of 215 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
Starting from the Dorfplatz parking area, you will pass by the restaurant Frohsinn, where you can grab a snack before beginning your journey. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across the viewpoint of Portiflue, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. This viewpoint is located 1.7 kilometers from the start of the trail, making it a great spot to stop and take in the scenery.
Along the route, you will also find benches for resting and a fountain for a refreshing break. Be sure to visit the peak of Portiflue, which is 1.7 kilometers into the hike and offers breathtaking views of the area. Don't miss the information point at Nunningen, located just 0.02 kilometers from the trail.
As you continue on the trail, you will pass by Restaurant Pizzeria Kreuz, where you can refuel and relax before heading back. The trail also includes parking areas for your convenience.
