As you begin your journey, you will find a convenient parking area nearby. The trail starts off with a slight incline, allowing you to ease into the hike. Approximately 0.61 kilometers from the start, you will come across the archaeological site of בית כנסת התחתון גוש חלב, providing a glimpse into the historic past of the area.

Continuing on, at around 1.61 kilometers from the start, there is a lovely picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy a snack while taking in the beautiful surroundings. As you trek further, at 1.66 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the refreshing עין עלווה spring, offering a peaceful spot to rest and replenish your water supply.

Around the halfway point of the trail, approximately 3.13 kilometers from the start, you will find the מאדם אלקלעי cafe, a perfect place to refuel and recharge before continuing your adventure. At 3.54 kilometers from the start, you will pass by a water source, ideal for a quick refill of your water bottle.
