Welcome to the Murmattweg hiking route! This super easy trail spans 0.857 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it perfect for beginners and casual hikers.

The trail starts at a parking area named P2, around 0.04 kilometers from the beginning. As you walk along the trail, you will come across various points of interest. About 0.27 kilometers from the start, you'll find another parking area with a fee. Further along, at 0.38 kilometers, there is a bicycle parking spot, and at 0.43 kilometers, you'll reach a parking area closer to the trail.

For sustenance, there is a restaurant named Militärgarten at the beginning of the trail and Südpol Buvette at 0.38 kilometers away. Additionally, there are several benches and drinking water facilities along the trail for rest and hydration.

As this is an out-and-back type of trail, you'll retrace your steps on the way back, passing by the same points of interest. Remember to bring water, wear comfortable shoes, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this leisurely hike. Enjoy the serene surroundings of the Murmattweg trail!
