This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and challenging terrain. The trail is an out-and-back type with a total distance of 10.8 kilometers and an elevation gain of 474 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 3 hours and 41 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will pass by Cavallers Part Baixa parking area, which is just 0.08 kilometers from the trailhead. Along the way, you will encounter Pantà de Cavallers, a picturesque water reservoir located 0.37 kilometers from the start. Further ahead, at the 2.39-kilometer mark, you will come across Cascada de Riumalo, a beautiful waterfall nestled in the landscape.
Halfway through your hike, at around 5.28 kilometers, you will find informative spots such as Cavallers Presa and a viewpoint called Mirador del Ventosa i Calvell. These locations offer great resting spots and panoramic views of the surroundings.
Towards the end of the trail, at 5.4 kilometers, you will reach Refugi Ventosa i Calvell, an alpine hut where you can take a break and refuel before heading back. Additionally, there is a memorial site located 2.42 kilometers from the start, providing a glimpse into the area's historic significance.
