This challenging hiking route will take you through the beautiful area around Wysoki Grzbiet. The trail is an out-and-back type, totaling approximately 9.5 kilometers with an elevation gain of 679 meters. The estimated duration for this hike is about 3 hours and 54 minutes.
Starting from the trailhead, you will pass by the Schronisko PTTK na Hali Ornak alpine hut, a perfect spot to rest and enjoy the panoramic views just 0.01 kilometers from the start. Continuing on, you will come across the Kazalnica peak at around 4.34 kilometers into the hike, followed by the Wysoki Grzbiet peak at 4.74 kilometers. These natural landmarks offer stunning vistas and are great photo opportunities along the way.
Around the midway point, you will encounter the Lodowa w Ciemniaku cave entrance, although it is slightly off the trail at 4.74 kilometers. Further ahead, at 3.99 kilometers into the hike, you will find the Kościołki peak, and at 3.96 kilometers, another peak with the same name.
