This extremely difficult 14.014-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the stunning Cap de la Rocagran in a picturesque area. The trail starts at the parking space, which is conveniently located at the beginning of the route. As you make your way through the challenging terrain, you'll come across various points of interest.
At 0.08 kilometers from the start, you'll find a drinking water station, where you can replenish your water supply. Around 0.7 kilometers into the hike, there is an information point providing valuable insights into the area. Further along, at 0.59 kilometers and 0.21 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter two more information points, offering additional information about the surroundings.
As you continue on the trail, at 1.8 kilometers, you'll reach the Collada de la Serra, a beautiful saddle point along the route. About 4.3 kilometers in, you'll come across another saddle, Coll del Caubo, offering breathtaking views of the landscape. At 4.64 kilometers, lo Calbo peak awaits you with its majestic beauty. The Turó de l'Àliga peak, located 1.48 kilometers from the start (not directly on the trail), provides a rewarding challenge for more experienced hikers.
Finally, after a total of 7.01 kilometers, you'll reach the ultimate destination, Cap de la Rocagran peak. Here, you can enjoy panoramic views from the top, making all your hard work and effort worthwhile.
Please note that this hike is extremely difficult, with 1028.0 meters of elevation gain, so be sure to come prepared with plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate hiking gear. Check the weather forecast before heading out, and always prioritize safety during your adventure.
