This hiking route takes you through the beautiful Gainschniggalm area, offering stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere. The trail is an out-and-back type, totaling 2.665 kilometers with an elevation gain of 196 meters, making it an easy route suitable for all skill levels.

Starting off the hike, you will pass by the Ammererhof restaurant about 0.32 kilometers from the trailhead, where you can stop for a meal or refreshments before continuing on. Along the way, you will also come across the Naturfreundehaus Kolm-Saigurn alpine hut, a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature.

As you venture further, you will encounter several benches strategically placed along the trail for you to rest and take in the scenic views. The Gainschniggalm and Erlehenalm alpine huts are also along the route, offering a glimpse into the traditional mountain lifestyle.
