This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Gainschniggalm. The trail is 2.665 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 196 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. The duration of the hike is approximately 1 hour and 6 minutes.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to leave your car here before embarking on the adventure. Nearby, there is a information point where you can gather any last-minute details about the area.

As you continue on the trail, you will find the Ammererhof restaurant about 0.32 kilometers into the hike. This is a great spot to grab a bite to eat and recharge before moving forward. Further along the path, at 0.71 kilometers, you will encounter the Erlehenalm alpine hut, offering a cozy resting place with beautiful views.

Midway through the hike, at around 1.33 kilometers, you will reach the Naturfreundehaus Kolm-Saigurn alpine hut. This is another excellent spot to take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Additionally, benches can be found along the trail for hikers to sit and relax.

As you make your way back, you will pass by a spring where you can replenish your water supply. Finally, at the end of the trail, you will find the Ammererhof alpine hut, allowing you to conclude your hike on a high note.
