Located in a picturesque area, the Route des Trois Bornes offers a super easy hiking experience with a total distance of 1.401 kilometers and no significant elevation gain. Perfect for beginners or those looking for a leisurely stroll in nature.
As you begin your journey, you will come across several points of interest along the trail. About 0.22 kilometers from the start, you will find P2 parking. Further along, at 0.43 kilometers, you can explore the Labyrint Drielandenpunt, a unique attraction with intricate pathways to navigate.
For those interested in history, at 0.64 kilometers, you will pass by the Grenzstein boundary stones, adding a touch of heritage to your hike. At 0.5 kilometers, don't miss the Vaalserberg peak for a scenic viewpoint.
Halfway through the hike, at around 0.7 kilometers, you will encounter the Preussestein No. 17, a historic boundary stone that adds a cultural element to your outdoor adventure.
As you reach the end of the trail, take a moment to relax at the De Bokkerijder restaurant, located at 0.01 kilometers from the trail endpoint. Here, you can refuel and unwind after your hike.
