Welcome to the Chemin Noir hiking route! This easy out-and-back trail covers a distance of 3.352 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.
Starting at the parking lot, you will first encounter a water feature at the beginning of the trail, just 55 meters away. As you continue, you will pass by more water features, including Étangs des Viviers and several others scattered along the path. Be sure to bring plenty of water with you, as there are no hydration stations along the way.
Halfway through the hike, at around 1.68 kilometers, you will come across another water feature, providing a picturesque spot to take a break and enjoy the surroundings. The trail is well-marked, so you can easily navigate your way back to the starting point.
Before embarking on the Chemin Noir trail, be sure to check the weather forecast and dress accordingly. It's always a good idea to wear comfortable hiking shoes and bring a map or GPS device with you.
