Hiking : Tête du Fresillon

This extremely difficult 17.359-kilometer circular hiking route will take you to the stunning Tête du Fresillon area. The hike includes an elevation gain of 297 meters and is expected to take around 4 hours and 45 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area right at the beginning of the trail. Remember to bring enough water and snacks as this hike is quite challenging. About 6.3 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Croix Chevandier, a shelter where you can take a rest and enjoy the surrounding nature.

Continuing on the trail, at about 6.51 kilometers from the start, you'll find the Haut du Bon Dieu peak, although it is slightly off the trail. As you progress further, at about 8.67 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Tête du Fresillon peak, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the area.

Along the way, you will also encounter the Col de Lendenstein, a picturesque saddle located around 0.65 kilometers from the start, and Fontaine Jules, a refreshing spring approximately 0.86 kilometers from the start.
