This challenging hike in the area of La Pissa da l'Alba covers a distance of 9.748 kilometers with an elevation gain of 381 meters, taking approximately 3 hours and 12 minutes to complete.
Starting at the parking area (distance: 0.0 km), hikers will first pass by the Cappella di San Martino (distance: 0.2 km), a historic wayside shrine. Further along the trail, at 1.13 km from the start, you will encounter the Cappella della Marcolegia, another historic wayside shrine.
As you continue on the trail, make sure to stay hydrated. Drinking water is available at a point located 0.08 km from the start.
Midway through the hike, at 2.86 km from the start, you will come across another wayside shrine, the location of this site gives you a great opportunity to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
At 4.7 km from the start, there is a memorial along the trail, offering a moment of reflection. Just a bit further, at 4.87 km, don't miss the beautiful La Pissa da l'Alba waterfall, a must-see natural attraction.
Towards the end of the route, at 0.97 km from the start, you will find the Sass du cero archaeological site, providing a glimpse into the area's history.
