This extremely difficult hiking route in the Hirzeck area covers a distance of 12.006 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1027.0 meters. The estimated duration for this challenging hike is approximately 5 hours and 20 minutes. Make sure to come prepared with plenty of water and snacks, as well as proper hiking gear.

Starting at the parking area located at the beginning of the trail, hikers will embark on an out-and-back journey that leads them through diverse terrain and breathtaking scenery.

As you make your way along the trail, you will come across various points of interest that enhance the overall hiking experience. Approximately 2.17 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a natural water feature, providing a serene spot to rest and refuel.

Further along the path, at around 4.36 kilometers from the beginning, you will have the opportunity to summit the Glingspitze peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Continuing on, at the 6 kilometer mark, the Hirzeck peak awaits, providing a challenging yet rewarding ascent.

During the journey, you may also come across the Kitzeck peak at 5.25 kilometers from the start, as well as the Wurmkogel peak at 2.73 kilometers from the beginning, each offering their own unique perspectives and photo opportunities.
