This hiking route takes you through a picturesque area with beautiful natural surroundings. The trail is 2.592 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 152 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for beginners and families.

As you start your journey, you'll come across the Strohbach parking area which is conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. Here you can leave your vehicle before heading out on the hike. Just a short distance from the parking area, you'll find the Strohbach information point where you can learn more about the area.

Further along the trail, about 0.08 kilometers in, you'll discover the Wassertretstelle, a water feature where you can take a refreshing break. Continuing on, at the 1.3 kilometers mark, you'll reach the Wallburg archaeological site, providing a glimpse into the region's history.

As you make your way back, be sure to take advantage of the benches scattered along the trail for a restful stop. At the 1.3 kilometers mark, you'll also reach the peak of Auf der Schanze, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
