This challenging 11.3 km out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the majestic Salt de la Roca Alta waterfall. The trail begins at the parking area located at the start of the route. As you hike, you will come across various points of interest along the way.

Just 0.3 km from the trailhead, you'll find a shelter where you can take a short break. Further along at 0.07 km, there is the Castell de Besora restaurant if you wish to grab a meal or refreshment before continuing your journey. Additionally, there are parking areas at 0.07 km and at the trailhead to leave your vehicle.

As you progress, you'll reach Collet de la Gallina saddle at 2.12 km, and Col de la Bassota at 2.34 km. Both offer stunning viewpoints and photo opportunities. Along the way, there are drinking water stations at 0.03 km and 0.07 km to stay hydrated.

Midway through the hike at 5.67 km, you'll reach the breathtaking Salt de la Roca Alta waterfall. Take your time to admire the natural beauty and perhaps have a snack before heading back. Nearby, at 5.39 km, you can explore the ruins of Molí de Tavèrnoles.

Before turning back, make sure to check out the information points located at various spots on the trail to learn more about the area. The trail culminates back at the starting point, ensuring a rewarding and fulfilling experience.

Please note that this route is considered difficult due to its length of 11.3 km and an elevation gain of 242 meters. Ensure you are well-prepared with proper hiking gear, sufficient water, and snacks. Don't forget to check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
