This hiking route takes you along the Route de Moustiers, offering stunning views and a challenging terrain. The route spans 8.669 kilometers with an elevation gain of 428 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take about 3 hours and 4 minutes to complete.
Starting at the parking area at the beginning of the trail, hikers will come across the Plateau de Barbin information point at 2.07 kilometers from the start. This is a good spot to learn about the area's flora and fauna. Continuing on, at 3.5 kilometers, you will find a water source where you can replenish your supplies.
As you trek further along the trail, at 4.33 kilometers, there is a viewpoint offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. This is a great spot to take a break and snap some photos. Further along the path at 0.54 kilometers from the start, you will encounter another informational point providing insights into the local history and geology.
For the more adventurous hikers, there are cave entrances to explore along the way. The Aven de l'Espérance at 2.23 kilometers and the Aven des Grands Ducs at 3.09 kilometers are worth checking out if you're up for some exploration.
