Welcome to the hiking route to Sasso Grande! This beautiful area offers stunning views and a challenging hike for outdoor enthusiasts.

Starting at the trailhead, you'll embark on a 6.4 km out-and-back journey with an elevation gain of 613 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek. Make sure to pack plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear before setting off.

As you make your way along the trail, you will encounter several points of interest. Near the beginning of the hike, you'll find the parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before starting the adventure. Along the path, keep an eye out for the informative signs that provide interesting details about the surrounding natural landscape.

About 3.2 km into the hike, you'll reach Sasso Grande, a picturesque peak with breathtaking panoramic views. Take some time to soak in the scenery and capture some memorable photos before continuing on your journey.

Further along the trail, you'll come across Passo Streccione, a saddle that offers a unique perspective of the area. As you traverse the path, you may also encounter benches and drinking water stations to rest and rehydrate.

At the turnaround point, you'll find the peaks Mitria and Gemelli, which offer spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. Take a moment to appreciate the beauty of the landscape before beginning your return journey.
