Welcome to the hiking route to Piz Cam! This challenging trail covers a distance of 16.253 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1509 meters, making it extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.
The trail starts in a beautiful area surrounded by mountains and nature, offering a serene setting for your adventure. As you begin your journey, you will come across a parking area, both on and off the trail, where you can safely leave your vehicle before starting the hike.
Around 1.23 kilometers into the trail, you will find Camping Mulina, a convenient campsite for those looking to spend the night surrounded by the stunning alpine landscape. Further along the route, at around 6.09 to 6.14 kilometers, there are multiple water sources where you can replenish your supplies.
As you continue onward, you will encounter Roticcio and a bench nearby, offering a place to rest and take in the breathtaking views. At approximately 6.6 kilometers, you will reach Bocchetta della Forcella, a notable saddle along the trail. And at 8.13 kilometers, you will arrive at Piz Cam, a majestic peak that serves as the final destination of the route.
Throughout the hike, you will also find several drinking water stations at various points to stay hydrated. Additionally, a restaurant is located at 0.14 kilometers from the start, providing a perfect spot to refuel after completing the challenging trek.
Before embarking on this adventure, make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and essential hiking gear. It is also recommended to check the weather forecast beforehand and be prepared for changing conditions in the mountains.
