This hiking route takes you through the scenic area of Route de Millau à Nant, offering a total distance of 7.87 kilometers and an elevation gain of 147 meters, making it a difficult trail. It is estimated to take around 2 hours and 11 minutes to complete.
As you begin your hike, you will come across Mare du Fanguas, a picturesque water feature located right at the start of the trail. Further along, about 0.31 kilometers into the hike, you will find the Roman Well (Puits romain) conveniently situated along the trail for a quick rest stop.
At around 1.38 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter Baume bâtie, a cave entrance that adds an interesting element to the trail. Continuing on, at about 3.48 kilometers, you will reach Trou du Soleil, another cave entrance worth exploring.
For a break and some stunning views, there are several viewpoints to enjoy along the trail. At 3.52 kilometers, you will find a viewpoint offering panoramic scenes of the surroundings. Additionally, at 3.67 kilometers, there are two more viewpoints, each providing a different perspective of the landscape.
It is important to come prepared for this challenging hike by bringing an adequate water supply and checking the weather forecast beforehand.
