This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with a total distance of 10.963 kilometers and an elevation gain of 291 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek. Make sure to allocate around 3 hours and 15 minutes for this hike.
Starting at the parking area, you will first come across the Torre de Gavadà, a historic castle located just 0.12 kilometers from the start of the trail. As you continue onwards, approximately 2.27 kilometers into the hike, you will pass by an information point providing interesting insights about the surroundings.
Further along the trail, at roughly 3.81 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter the impressive Roca foradada de Vandellòs, a natural rock formation. Additionally, at 4.19 kilometers, you will have the opportunity to visit the archaeological site of Poblat Ibèric de Genessies, offering a glimpse into the area's ancient history.
The trail will lead you to Coll de Cassear at around 3.02 kilometers, a natural saddle providing a picturesque spot to rest and take in the surroundings. As you approach 5.48 kilometers, you will reach the Tossal de Penjabudells, a peak offering stunning panoramic views. Finally, you will arrive at the endpoint of the hike, Mirador dels Dedalts, a scenic viewpoint located at the 5.48-kilometer mark, where you can marvel at the landscape before heading back.
