This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Casa Bastone. The trail is 4.03 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 379 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike. It is an out-and-back route, so you will be retracing your steps on the way back.
As you start your hike, you will come across Villa Gini, a historic manor located just 0.05 kilometers from the trailhead. Further along the trail, at the 0.6-kilometer mark, you will find information about the area at an information point.
At around 1.48 kilometers into the hike, you will pass by the entrance to Grotta del Ragno, a cave worth exploring if you have the time and inclination. Continuing on, at the 1.93-kilometer mark, there is a picnic site where you can take a break and refuel.
Midway through the hike, at the 2.0-kilometer mark, you will find Casa Bastone, an alpine hut where you can rest and enjoy the surroundings. Just a bit further, at 2.02 kilometers, there is another information point at Sensazioni di Montagna.
Towards the end of the trail, around the 2.02-kilometer mark, you will find benches and another information point. Finally, as you reach the trailhead, you will see a parking area where you can safely leave your vehicle before starting or after completing your hike.
