Welcome to the hiking route to Jelenec, a challenging 11.74-kilometer out-and-back trail that will take you on a journey through the beautiful Slovakian countryside. The route has an elevation gain of 397 meters, so be prepared for some steep inclines and rocky terrain.
Your adventure begins at the trailhead near Horná Píla, where you can learn some interesting information about the area before setting off. As you continue towards your destination, Jelenec, you'll encounter the Pamätník výstupu na Jelenec, a monument commemorating the ascent to the peak.
At the peak of Jelenec, standing at 5.87 kilometers from the start, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views and a sense of accomplishment. Take some time to explore the area before heading back along the same trail.
