The Sentier du Bourget hiking route offers a moderate level of difficulty with a distance of 3.76 kilometers and an elevation gain of 395 meters. The trail takes approximately 1 hour and 51 minutes to complete and is an out-and-back type of route.

Starting at the trailhead, hikers will come across various points of interest along the way. About 0.81 kilometers from the start, there is a rock formation that can be observed from a distance of 170.98 meters from the trail. Moving forward, at 1.68 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Abre Fourchu, an information point situated right on the trail.

Further down the trail at around 0.36 kilometers from the beginning, Le Bourget, another informational spot, can be found just a short distance away. Close by, at 0.81 kilometers from the start, the Belvédère des maquisards viewpoint offers a picturesque stop to admire the surrounding landscape. Continuing on, at 1.09 kilometers, another information point can be seen along the trail, followed by another one at 1.18 kilometers.

For convenience, there are parking areas available nearby, with one located 0.04 kilometers from the starting point and another one directly on the trail itself. Additionally, there are two viewpoints to enjoy, one at 1.62 kilometers and the other at 1.88 kilometers into the hike.
