Welcome to the Sentiero della Fonte della Biscia hiking route! This circular trail offers a beautiful and easy hike through the stunning natural landscapes of the area.
As you begin your journey, you will pass by the parking area, which is conveniently located at the trailhead. From there, your first point of interest is the Foresteria, a historic building just 0.2 kilometers into the hike. Moving along, you will come across the Santuario della Beata Vergine della Consolazione, an attractive attraction just a quarter of a kilometer from the start.
As you continue along the trail, you will encounter the Balzo di Santa Caterina viewpoint, offering breathtaking views of the surroundings. This viewpoint is located midway through the hike, at 0.45 kilometers from the beginning. Additionally, you will pass by several historic sites, such as the Memoriale ai Ragazzi del Salvemini and the Edicola della Croce wayside shrine.
For a quick break, you can rest at the picnic site located 0.17 kilometers from the start or enjoy a scenic view from the bench at 0.25 kilometers. Make sure to hydrate at the Fonte della Biscia spring, which is just 0.09 kilometers away from the beginning of the trail.
