The Faulbrunnenweg hiking route is a super easy out-and-back trail, spanning approximately 1.26 kilometers with no elevation gain. This trail takes you through a picturesque area with various points of interest along the way.
As you start your hike, you will come across the Faulbornquelle (Schwefel) spring, located just 66 meters from the trail. This natural spring is a great spot to pause, take in the surroundings, and maybe even refill your water bottle. Continuing along the trail, about 0.63 kilometers in, you'll reach a wheelchair-accessible viewpoint offering a stunning panoramic view of the area.
If you feel like taking a break or grabbing a bite to eat, there is a biergarten located 160 meters off the trail. However, if you prefer to stay on the trail, you will find several benches at various points along the way where you can rest and enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the surroundings.
For those driving to the trailhead, there is a wheelchair-accessible parking lot named Bad Weilbach just a short distance from the start of the trail. Additionally, midway through the hike at around 0.45 kilometers from the start, you will encounter another bench and the Natronquelle spring, which is publicly accessible and a refreshing spot to visit.
