Starting at Altlohberger Hütte, you can explore various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you'll find convenient parking facilities to leave your vehicle. As you hike further, you'll come across the Kapitän Goltz restaurant, where you can take a break and enjoy a meal.

Around the 3.13-kilometer mark, you'll encounter two water sources where you can refill your water bottles. There are also informational points of interest with details about the area and the trail. A bench near Altlohbergerhütte offers a great resting spot with a nice view.

Additional information about the trail can be found at the Schlaghütte informational point, about 0.31 kilometers from the start, and the Lo 8 über Lohberger Steindl information sign, located 0.07 kilometers into the hike.

As you make your way back, you can stop at the wayside cross known as "2 Totenbretter" and the "zur BW - Meldestelle" information point for a last glimpse of the surroundings.
