This extremely difficult 16.997-kilometer circular hiking route will take you to the stunning Monte Valcalda area. The hike includes an elevation gain of 1197.0 meters and is estimated to take around 6 hours and 55 minutes to complete.
Starting at the parking area near Monte Valcalda, you will begin your journey towards the first point of interest, Monte Teglara, located 7.37 kilometers from the start. This peak offers breathtaking views of the surrounding wilderness. As you continue along the trail, you will come across Ricovero Casera Teglara, a wilderness hut and shelter situated 6.08 kilometers into the hike, providing a perfect spot for a rest.
Further along the route, at 8.4 kilometers from the start, you will reach the majestic Monte Valcalda peak, offering panoramic views of the area.
