This hiking route takes you through a challenging but rewarding journey in the breathtaking area surrounding Rocher de l'Aigle. With a distance of 14.324 kilometers and an elevation gain of 511 meters, this extremely difficult trail will test your endurance and offer stunning views along the way.
Starting at the parking area, you will begin your trek towards Col du Mercou, a scenic saddle located just 0.02 kilometers from the start. As you continue, you will pass by Col de Cabane Vieille and Col du Bedos, offering interesting information about the area 2.15 kilometers into the hike.
Further along the trail, you will encounter La Cale and Rocher de l'Aigle, both providing tourist information and beautiful sights approximately 6.66 and 6.98 kilometers from the starting point, respectively. Serre des Hubacs is another point of interest, located 1.39 kilometers from the start and worth a visit.
As you make your way back, you will pass by Col du Bedos and Col du Mercou once again, each offering unique information about the surrounding landscape at 0.98 and 0.02 kilometers from the start, respectively. The hike also includes notable points such as Rocher de l'Aigle and Piécamp, which are peaks offering stunning panoramic views.
