Starting at the parking area located at the beginning of the trail, hikers will pass by a historic wayside cross about 0.26 kilometers into the hike. Further along the trail, at around 0.78 kilometers, you will find a natural water source for those looking to refill their water bottles.

As you continue on the Kirchenweg trail, you may spot a bench midway through the hike, perfect for taking a break and enjoying the surrounding views. At around 0.84 kilometers, there is a park called Lausberg nearby, though not directly on the trail.

It is always recommended to bring an ample water supply, especially on warmer days, and to check the weather forecast before heading out on the trail. With its super easy difficulty level, the Kirchenweg route is a great choice for a leisurely nature walk.
