This hike takes place in the beautiful area of Route de l'Arpille - Martigny-Combe. The route is an out-and-back trail with a total distance of 4.81 kilometers and an elevation gain of 422 meters, making it a moderate difficulty level hike.
As you start your hike, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area with no fees, allowing you to easily leave your vehicle and begin your adventure. As you continue on, you will encounter an information point located 0.08 kilometers from the start and another one 0.02 kilometers from the start, providing you with valuable insights about the surroundings.
Further along the trail, about 0.32 kilometers from the start, you will find the Plan Bocon information point, named "Le Cœur", as well as a bench and a wayside shrine situated nearby. These points offer a great opportunity to take a rest and immerse yourself in the local culture and history.
Around 2.07 kilometers into the hike, there is a natural spring for you to refill your water bottle and stay hydrated. Additionally, at 2.41 kilometers into the hike, there is a viewpoint where you can take in the stunning scenery and capture some memorable photos.
As you near the end of the trail, on the way back, you will find a biergarten called "Buvette du Grizzli" located right by the trail, offering a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a refreshing drink.
