Welcome to the Gubener Weg hiking route! This trail spans a distance of 12.452 kilometers with an elevation gain of 897 meters, making it an extremely difficult yet rewarding trek.

The hike begins at the parking area located at a mere 0.01 kilometers from the start, providing convenient access to the trailhead. As you set off, you'll come across informational points at 0.44 kilometers and 1.47 kilometers from the start, offering insights into the surroundings and enhancing your experience.

Midway through the hike, at approximately 5.52 kilometers from the start, you'll find a water stop where you can replenish your supplies. Further ahead at 5.66 kilometers, you'll encounter the Finstertaler Scharte saddle, a picturesque spot that marks a significant point along the trail.

Continuing onwards, at 5.59 kilometers from the start, the Schartenkopf peak offers a stunning vantage point for panoramic views of the area. As you approach the endpoint, you'll pass by a memorial at 5.65 kilometers, paying homage to the historical significance of the region.
