This super easy hiking route is a circular trail in the area of Route des Crêtes. The trail is approximately 1.048 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 41 meters, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.

As you embark on this scenic hike, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the historic Freundstein castle just 0.5 kilometers from the start. Further along, at a distance of 0.02 kilometers, there is a picturesque picnic site where you can stop and enjoy a meal surrounded by nature.

As you continue on the trail, about halfway through at 0.47 kilometers, you will reach a viewpoint offering stunning panoramic views of the surroundings. At 0.51 kilometers, there is another viewpoint where you can take in more breathtaking scenery.

At 0.09 kilometers from the start, you will encounter an information point that provides insights into the area's history and landmarks. Additionally, there are two more information points along the trail, offering valuable information about the surroundings.

To start the hike, you can park your vehicle conveniently at the designated parking area located right at the beginning of the trail.
