This challenging hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Pv Etang-aux-Castors. The trail is an out-and-back type, so you will be retracing your steps on the way back.

Starting at the SE S05 parking area, you will begin your journey towards Pv Gorge du chemin de la Falaise, a stunning viewpoint located 0.73 kilometers from the start. As you continue on the trail, you will pass by Pv Passe du Diable at 2.42 kilometers from the start, offering another picturesque viewpoint along the way.

Midway through the hike at around 2.88 kilometers, you will reach Pv étang, another lovely viewpoint with scenic views. Further along the trail at 3.79 kilometers, you will come across a couple of water features, including Pv étang de castor and Camping rustique de l'Etang-aux-Castors, offering a peaceful spot to rest and recharge.

Throughout the hike, you will encounter several information points providing insights into the area's history and natural features. These information points are located at various distances along the trail, offering you a chance to learn more about the surroundings.

With a total distance of 7.576 kilometers and an elevation gain of 212 meters, this hike is considered difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.
