Located in the Sha Tin District, the Tai Po Kau Forest Track – Fire Lookout Section hike is a 5.5-kilometer circular route that offers a moderate challenge with a total elevation gain of 350 meters.

The hike starts at a parking area and heads towards the De Wah Public School ruins, giving hikers a glimpse into the region's historic past. Along the way, there are informational markers providing more insight into the area's history and attractions.
