This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Spelonca del bovaio along Strada Provinciale di Valdarni. With a total distance of 10.6 kilometers and an elevation gain of 731 meters, this hike is rated as difficult, so be prepared for a challenging trek.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. About 3.85 kilometers into the hike, you will find a drinking water station to refill your water bottles. Further along the trail, at 4.28 kilometers, you will see the majestic Monte Nome del Gesù peak, which is a must-see spot although a bit off the main trail.

Around the midway point of the hike, at 4.77 kilometers, you will encounter the Lapide del Gruppo Valanga memorial and an information point for some interesting insights into the area's history. Additionally, you will find a bench to rest and take in the surrounding views at 4.92 kilometers.

Continuing onwards, at 5.3 kilometers, you will reach another peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the area. As you make your way back, at 5.22 kilometers, there is another information point and a drinking water station to help you stay hydrated on your return journey.
