This challenging hiking route takes you to the stunning Monte Campetto area, offering breathtaking views and a rewarding outdoor experience.
Starting at the parking area, you'll find Trattoria La Gabiola, a cozy restaurant perfect for a pre-hike meal or a post-hike treat. As you begin your journey, you'll come across Passo della Porta, a mountain pass with informative signs about the local area. Further along the trail, at about 2.05 kilometers from the start, you'll reach Passo della Porta saddle, a picturesque spot to rest and take in the surroundings.
Continuing on, you'll encounter a cave entrance called Covolo in Sassolungo and another cave entrance named Pozzo 2 Sassolungo, adding an element of adventure to your hike.
At around 2.73 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the peak of Monte Campetto, offering panoramic views and a great sense of accomplishment.
