This hiking route, known as Sentier de la Rocaille, is a super easy circular trail that covers a distance of approximately 1.383 kilometers with an elevation gain of 66 meters. The estimated duration of the hike is 29 minutes and 6 seconds.
The trail starts at a beautiful medieval garden called Jardin Médiéval, which is located about 0.45 kilometers from the beginning of the route. As you continue on the trail, you will come across the Chapelle Saint-Sébastien, a historic wayside shrine right at the start of the hike.
Further along the path, at about 0.41 kilometers from the start, you will reach Place des Combattants, a parking area where you can leave your vehicle. Additionally, you will also encounter Fort Sainte-Agnès, which is a historic fort situated at around 0.61 kilometers from the beginning of the trail.
Another interesting point of interest on this route is Château Sainte Agnès, a historic castle located approximately 0.45 kilometers from the start. Near the castle, at about 0.55 kilometers from the beginning, you will find Place du Château, another parking area for visitors.
During your hike, you will also pass by a natural peak at around 0.45 kilometers from the start, as well as a viewpoint at about 0.63 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. In addition, there are various dining options such as Righi restaurant and Le Saint-Yves along the way.
For your convenience, there are several drinking water stations located along the trail at different points. It is recommended to bring an adequate supply of water, wear comfortable hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this leisurely hike.
