This challenging 6.6-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the stunning landscapes of the Aff region. The trail starts at the parking area and immediately immerses you in nature's beauty. Along the way, you will come across the Aellgäuli viewpoint, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area just 0.04 kilometers from the start.

As you continue on the trail, at around 1.5 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter an informational point providing insights into the local flora and fauna. Make sure to take a moment to appreciate the surroundings and learn more about the area's biodiversity.

Midway through the hike, approximately 1.48 kilometers from the start, you will find a drinking water station to refill your water bottle and stay hydrated during your adventure. Continuing onwards, at 1.76 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Hohgant peak, offering breathtaking views of the region.

The trail will then lead you to another informational point at the 1.76-kilometer mark, providing historical and geological information about the Hohgant peak. Finally, at around 2.55 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Aff peak, the highlight of the route, offering a sense of accomplishment and stunning views of the surrounding landscapes.

This hike, with an elevation gain of 576 meters, is considered difficult and is suitable for experienced hikers. Make sure to wear appropriate footwear, bring enough water, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
