As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area to leave your vehicle conveniently located at the trailhead. About 0.6 kilometers into the hike, you will find a water source where you can replenish your supplies. Further along the trail, at around 0.96 kilometers from the starting point, you will encounter another water spot for your convenience.

At the beginning of the hike, you will also come across the General Hotze Denkmal, a historic memorial located just 0.6 kilometers from the start of the trail. Additionally, at approximately 0.28 kilometers into the hike, there is a bar where you can take a break and grab a snack.

It's essential to bring an ample water supply and check the weather forecast before embarking on this hike, as conditions can change quickly. The out-and-back route type means you will retrace your steps back to the starting point after reaching the end of the trail.
