This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding the Rila Lakes hut (х.Рилски езера). The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 6.226 kilometers and an elevation gain of 487 meters, making it of moderate difficulty.

As you start your hike, you will come across several benches along the trail where you can take a rest and enjoy the scenery. About 0.04 kilometers from the start, you will also find a parking area for your convenience.

As you continue on, at around 1.32 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a campsite where you can spend a night under the stars. Further along the trail, at 2.28 kilometers from the start, there is a tiny shelter where you can seek refuge if needed.

Midway through the hike, at 3.11 kilometers from the start, you will find the Rila Lakes hut (х.Рилски езера). This alpine hut offers accommodation and amenities for hikers, so feel free to take a break and refuel before heading back.
