This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Mottalla, leading you to Passo dell'Angeloga and back. With a total distance of 9.773 kilometers and an elevation gain of 864 meters, this route is considered difficult and is expected to take around 4 hours and 25 minutes to complete.
As you begin your journey, you'll come across the Rifugio Chiavenna alpine hut, located 2.45 kilometers from the start of the trail. This hut is open from June to September and provides a great resting spot for hikers. Along the way, you'll encounter several water sources, some located right on the trail and others a short distance away. Make sure to stay hydrated and refill your water supply when necessary.
At around 4.36 kilometers into the hike, you'll find a water point that is slightly off the trail. It's important to plan ahead and know where these water sources are located to ensure you have an enjoyable and safe trek. Additionally, at 4.46 kilometers, you'll reach Passo di Angeloga, a saddle that offers stunning views of the surrounding landscapes.
