The Koineweg - Pölstal hiking route is a challenging out-and-back trail that spans approximately 23.77 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1850 meters, making it extremely difficult. The route is estimated to take around 10 hours and 7 minutes to complete.

For those seeking a more challenging hike, the peak known as Hochschwung awaits at a distance of 6.17 kilometers from the start. Additionally, the Großer Geierkogel peak is located 6.93 kilometers into the trail for those looking to conquer more summits.
